Finally, after 2 years of product testing and prototypes we decided we were finally ready! Steve said there was a good stock of all offerings ready to ship, and it was time to let the website "go live". Go live we did in July 2020. In an effort to determine popularity, supply and demand and magical needs we kicked off with promo prices, & free shipping. Within a month we realized we needed to actually let people other than family know we existed! Tempting as it may be for my Mom to support us, she had no need for a comedy legs table.
Martini sent out some info about Steve Myers Magic in his news letters, and we started getting sales. It was exciting. The feedback was wonderful. After we developed a small customer base I started to post some items for sale in magic groups on facebook. I think it's safe to say the cigars, malini eggs, and ice cream bars kept us busy for 2 months straight! It seems the customers are happy but there is one problem. We are sold out and backordered! Through the holidays we caught up on backorders but our client wishlist for wood products has grown. Now the hard work... Steve is having his current shop torn down! In the beginning of February, depending on the weather we should be back up and running with a new shop, and in turn wood goods! I will update here as it progresses.
