New Year, Same US

​It's been 5 years since Steve sat in the smoke filled front room of the old Denny & Lee shop in Rosedale Maryland and engaged in serious discussion with Denny about his plans. Steve had decided to transition from performing magic to making magic. Denny's opinion mattered almost more than anyone else. Denny knew the magic market, the gaps, and the excesses and what Steve had to offer the magic fraternity. Denny was extremely excited to see what Steve would do in his next magic chapter and we both wish he was here to see it.

Twenty three years of dedication to operating a haunted house was coming to a close. After 50 years of living in the same exact town we were moving. The kids were transitioning into adulthood. We embraced all the changes in our private, and business lives, and dove in to create Steve Myers Magic, a sort of dream that we never thought we would have time for.

I'm here to tell you, you need to make time for your dreams. Step out of your comfort zone, make the change, and MAKE TIME for what you want. Whenever I didn't meet the needs or expectations of people, including myself I used to say, "life gets in the way of the best intentions". My views and goals have changed. Now I say "nothing in life will get in the way of my best intentions". Steve's capabilities far surpassed our expectations and intentions for SMM. We thought we would sell a few cigars, Malini eggs, and a couple card boxes, but thanks to our amazing customers we've grown into a product line with over 50 items/variables to choose from. All made by hand, one at a time, by Steve!

Our aspirations remain as they always have been; a handmade quality product, and exemplary customer service!
Our advice for the New Year - Don't let anything get in the way of your best intentions or aspirations in 2023!                                     -Jen
